Emergency services didn't have far to go this morning after a crash involving three vehicles outside Invercargill police station.

Police say a motorcycle collided with a car, before swerving into a parked ute on Don St just before 8am.

Senior Constable Collin Johansen said the motorcyclist was taken to hospital for a check-up but appeared to be okay.

“He’s still talking, so that’s a good sign”.

Police were talking to the occupant of the car. She was unhurt after the motorcycle hit her left rear tail light.
