Emergency services were called to a crash in the Invercargill suburb of Appleby following a collision between three vehicles today.
A police spokeswoman described the crash as not being serious and no one was taken to hospital.
A witness, who did not want to be named said the two cars apparently collided after one of them failed to give way at the intersection of O'Hara and Ness streets.
One tow truck was called to remove one of the vehicles, which had ploughed into a fence following the collision.
