Peace run to move on

The New Zealand leg of the Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run is at an end.

Preetiutta Thorpe (left), of New Zealand, Nurari Merry, of the UK, Anita Ramljak, of Croatia, Vera Sevastyanova, of Russia,and Abhejali Bernardova, of the Czech Republic, celebrate the end of the run, which involved a relay of runners from several countries carrying a torch from Cape Reinga to the Bluff in a bid to promote world peace and harmony.

The torch will be taken through 44 southern hemisphere nations, with the next country being Fiji.
