A pilot of an aircraft which crashed in Western Southland this afternoon, has been flown to hospital with serious injuries.
The pilot suffered multiple injuries, including possible stomach injuries, and has been flown to Southland Hospital by a Southern Lakes helicopter, a St John spokesman said.
