A power pole is down after being hit by a ute in the Southland settlement of Garston.
A police spokesmen said emergencies services were called to the scene of the crash on the Garston-Athol highway (State Highway 6) shortly before 8am today.
The vehicle hit the power pole, he said.
“There were no injuries, but a power pole is down.”
No diversions were in place, he said.
