Upgrades brought forward

Upgrades to Luggate’s drinking water scheme will be in place by the end of this year.

On Friday, the Queenstown Lakes District Council announced the work, which had been planned for 2028, would be in place by December.

Two new supply bores, access to a new water source and a new ultraviolet treatment plant will be built and the estimated cost of work is $6.3 million. — APL
