The rankings were first revealed during an interview with Adult Toy Megastore owner Nicola Relph as she guided TVNZ documentary Counting the Beat host Tāmati Rimene-Sproat around the megastore’s Porirua warehouse.
Adult Toy Megastore later confirmed to the Greymouth Star that the company’s top sales regions in New Zealand per capita were the West Coast followed by Taranaki and Manawatū-Whanganui.
The company said it planned to release more statistics in the new year as well — showing the ups, downs and surprising areas of growth in the adult market.
