A bride and her two bridesmaids arrived in unique style for her nuptials at the Moana Community Church on Saturday after their wedding car was smashed into by another vehicle.
Moana fire chief Dave Larkin said the brigade attended an incident at 2.20pm just 500m east of Moana township.
The bride-to-be and her two attendants were due to get into the car, when another car coming down the road smacked into the back of it.
Mr Larkin said while nobody was injured, it was apparent neither car was drivable, and the next available thing was the fire engine — so the driver dropped them at the church for the ceremony.
The driver then returned to the crash scene.
