The winners of Sweet Adelines New Zealand Convention 2025, Foveaux Harmony Chorus, will be performing a concert in Invercargill and musical director Sarah Rae is promising something for everyone.

Taking place at First Presbyterian Church, the concert will be a vibrant celebration of music, talent and community spirit, she said.

The group will be performing a range of genres including jazz and modern-day classics.

The event will also feature six local singers ranging in age from 15 to 18, competing as finalists in the ILT/Foveaux Harmony Chorus scholarship. Arts Murihiku co-ordinator Bindy Anderson will be judging the competition along with performing herself.

Rae said the concert was designed to appeal to everyone with the goal of highlighting the passion of performers who are dedicated to sharing their love of music with the community.

Along with the musical performances, attendees can take part in a raffle with a selection of gift hampers available to win.

‘‘Showcase promises an uplifting afternoon of harmony, talent and community connection.’’

The event is set for June 28, starting at 3pm. Tickets are available from chorus members or at the door on the day of the event.
