New Zealand light heavyweight Robbie Berridge avenged his controversial draw against Australian Kerry Foley with a victory in Sydney last night.
Berridge won by technical knockout in the 10th round, the bout a rematch of the 2011 fight which the judges ruled a draw despite Berridge twice knocking down Foley.
On an undercard fight, rugby league star Paul Gallen won his professional debut when he stopped 19-year-old Herman Purcell in the second round.
