McCullum still with us

Former New Zealand cricket captain Brendon McCullum says he was heartbroken to read a fake story on social media that his brother had died.

McCullum’s brother Nathan, who also played for the Black Caps, posted on Twitter that he is "alive and kicking more than ever before".

But earlier posts on Facebook and Twitter had claimed he had died from complications in hospital.

In a post yesterday morning, Brendon McCullum said his heart broke when he read the post on a flight back to New Zealand.

In the post he said he would find the person responsible, "somewhere, somehow".
