Wellington Phoenix fans have been given 10,000 reasons to head along for the clash against Melbourne Heart next weekend.
With the team playing some of the best football in their history as results trend upwards, the club will be hoping home attendances do likewise.
And main sponsor Huawei has added extra incentive for supporters, promising a fan $10,000 if more than 10,000 people get to the game.
The Phoenix, who sit one point outside the playoffs, next play at Westpac Stadium on February 16 and, as soon as the gate ticker hits 10,000, one supporter will be picked at random to take the cash.
The prize follows a successful promotion at cricket grounds across the country this summer, with Tui paying $100,000 to each of two fans who snagged one-handed catches in the crowd.
