The five New Zealand Warriors in New Zealand's test squad have been included in a unchanged line-up named today to face Gold Coast in a National Rugby League match at Robina on Sunday.
Fullback Lance Hohaia, centres Lewis Brown and Simon Mannering, prop Sam Rapira and interchange forward Ben Matulino are already in Queensland with the Kiwis, preparing for the Anzac test at the same Skilled Park venue on Friday night.
The Kiwis playing 17 is due to be named tomorrow, with all the Warriors' contingent except for the uncapped Brown likely to be selected.
Warriors coach Ivan Cleary has retained the same 17 players that have managed back-to-back wins over Melbourne and Penrith over the past two rounds.
He said the final line-up to face the Titans would be confirmed an hour before kick-off and after he had seen how players had come through the test against Australia.
"We haven't had to factor this in for quite a few years," he said.
"Usually we've had the bye the weekend of the Anzac test so it's really a case of wait and see."
Cleary said that, irrespective of how the players pulled up after the test, the Warriors would face a challenge against the Titans, who had won two of their past three games and would be strengthened by the return of fullback Preston Campbell from a knee injury.
He said the Titans were also unaffected by having players on duty and that would be a help for them.
"We didn't play so well against Penrith much of the time but we got a result," he said.
"We'll need to be better in all areas against the Titans."
The Warriors go into the match sitting just outside the top eight on points difference after winning four of their past five matches.
They will remain in Australia after playing the Titans and to prepare for their next match, away to Newcastle the following weekend.
