New Zealand motor rally driver Mark Tapper will not let a broken arm stop him from continuing his European adventure in the production world rally championship (PWRC).
Tapper, who is competing in selected events of the world rally championship as one of the five inaugural Pirelli Star Drivers, expects to be fit enough to compete in the next event in Finland, starting on July 30.
The broken arm happened when Tapper slipped an fell awkwardly in his Auckland home on Wednesday.
That led to surgery which means Tapper will miss the national championship round in the Wairarapa on July 18-19.
But Tapper says he is getting the best care possible while recuperating and should take his place at the start of the Rally of Finland.
