The Silver Ferns have been drawn in pool B for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games next year.
They have the slightly easier draw, coming up against Wales, Uganda, Scotland, Trinidad and Tobago, and Jamaica, who will be the Silver Ferns’ biggest test during the pool stage.
Defending champions Australia have been allocated pool A alongside England, South Africa, Malawi, Tonga and Northern Ireland.
The Silver Ferns won bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, with Jamaica winning silver in their first final at a pinnacle event.
