Dexter Dunn has been engaged to drive Timeless Perfection in the race for junior drivers at Addington on Friday night.
Timeless Perfection won at Addington last Friday in her first race for 18 months. She had been sidelined with a leg injury. The 4yr-old mare, trained by Brendon Hill, recorded a 1.57.7 mile rate for the 1950m (mobile).
It was her fourth win in five starts.
Masta Toddy and Uweehuma, winners for the David Thompson stable at Oamaru on Sunday, are set to back up at Addington.
Commander Jewel will continue her preparation for the Harness Jewels against the older horses.
• Jumpforjoy remains on target for the Harness Jewels on Saturday week even though she did not contest the New Zealand Oaks last Friday night.
Trainer Clark Barron said last night he decided against a start in the Oaks after the filly raced below par at her previous start at Addington.
"She was disappointing at her last start so we brought her home and have freshened her.
"She might have been pressure-cooked for the Southland Oaks [which she won] and that probably told at Addington," Barron said.
She is fourth on the list of qualifiers for the 3yr-old filly section of the Jewels behind Carabella, Donegal Delight and Tatijana Bromac.
• Charlie Smaill, of Riversdale, gained his first training success when Jaccka Justy won the maiden trot at Ascot Park on Saturday.
Smaill (64) first held a licence to train from 1993-97. He began training again in 2009.
Justy Jaccka was his 11th starter.
Smaill and his wife, Ailsa, operate Jaccka Lodge and mostly pre-train horses before handing them on to trainers.
