Superstar driver Dexter Dunn landed five wins on the 11 race programme two of which were for Gore trainer Tony Stratford.
Oamaru trainer Phil Williamson bagged two training wins on the Invercargill card and in the process landed the trifecta in the feature trot.
Tony Stratford's treble of winners was capped by a slick win by Jody Direen in a time that defied the wet track conditions yesterday's meeting saw.
Dexter Dunn took the Mach Three filly to the lead with a lap to run in race 8, where she would prove far too speedy to catch.
The 3yr-old clocked a 1.55.9 mile-rate in winning and reeled off 56.3sec last half on the rain soaked Ascot Park track.
Dunn used similar tactics to get Wayword Roc home for Stratford in race 5.
Wayward Roc was able to find the lead earlier in his race thanks to his barrier one draw, but would prove equally as hard to catch as his stablemate.
The pacer justifed his $1.90 tote favouritism with in winning his second race at start 44 and registering his third top 2 finish in three starts since joining the Stratford barn.
Stratford and Dunn's treble was completed by the much younger and inexperienced Simply Dreaming in race 7.
The 2yr-old scored his maiden win at start two after running second to Rakarover on debut, late last month.
Dunn's bag of five winning drives was completed by wins on the Ian Jamieson trained-Sundon's Wish in race 4 and the Robert Wilson trained Machie Mach in race 10.
Simply Dreaming's form behind Rakarover's looked even better when the Peter Hunter-trained pacer won again in yesterday's final event in the hands of Matthew Williamson.
The reinsman also scored with the Phil Williamson trained November Guy in race 2.
Later, Matthew drove Springbank Eden and Phil drove Bobbins in race 6, but they had to watch on from well back in the field as the Williamson stable bagged its trifecta.
Brad Williamson drove Alberbeck to win ahead of Pyramid Magic and Matt Purvis and Pyramid Monarch and Jonny Cox.
