At Lake Karapiro on Saturday, Bourke (Otago University) won her second premier gold medal in the women's premier quadruple sculls and a silver medal in the single sculls behind world champion bronze medallist Emma Twigg.
The Otago club pair of McBride and Duggan won their second double sculls title at the championships in the women's under-19 event. McBride also won the club single sculls.
Bourke (23), who comes from Takapau in Hawkes Bay, was a member of the New Zealand quadruple sculls crew that won a bronze medal at the world championships in Bled last year.
Bourke won her second premier women's title in the quadruple sculls in only her fourth year in the sport.
She was a member of the Southern RPC crew that won the women's quadruple sculls in a time of 6min 47.58sec and was followed home by Central RPC 6min 50.20sec and Waikato RPC 6min 54.90sec.
Central shot to the front at the gun and dominated the first 1000m.
Southern RPC made its move through the 1000m, edged ahead by the 1500m and then powered home to win by 2.62sec.
Twigg won the women's premier single sculls in 8min 00.45sec from Bourke 8min 05.59sec and Genevieve Armstrong (Waikato RPC) 8min 10.41sec.
Bourke and Armstrong were neck and neck and fighting for the silver medal through the 1500m mark.
With 400m left, Bourke made a big push and got clear water and was two lengths clear of Armstrong at the finish.
Lucy Strack (North End), who is recovering from a serious back injury, showed that she is coming close to her best form again by winning the B final in 8min 12.59sec. It was a time that would have given her fourth place in the A final.
McBride and Duggan won the women's under-19 double sculls in 8min 05.02sec from Auckland Grammar 8min 11.97sec and Timaru 8min 14.71sec.
The pair also won two titles at last year's Maadi Cup and this was their fourth national double sculls gold medal.
McBride won her third gold in the women's club single sculls in 8min 40.84sec.
She was 8.33sec ahead of Anna McAslin (North End) who finished strongly over the last 500m to claim the silver medal in 8min 49.17sec.
Otago's other gold medal on Saturday was won by economics and information science student Jamie Saunders (University) in the men's club single sculls in 7min 51.28sec from Lawson Morris-Whyte (Cure) 7min 53.82sec.
Simon Smith (Dunstan Arm) led through the 1000m but faded after that to finish fourth. Saunders made his big push with 400m to go.
It was a good championship for Otago oarsmen who won 14 medals - six gold, six silver and two bronze.
When the regatta was held at Lake Karapiro two years ago Otago rowers won just seven medals - four gold, two silver and one bronze.
Jack O'Leary and Bryce Abernethy (Otago) won a silver medal in the men's under 19 double sculls in 7min 07.74sec.
Alistair Bond (University) was a member of the Southern RPC crew that won a silver medal in the men's lightweight pair in 7min 16.92sec.
Justin Evans (University) teamed with P J Leeming (Waihopai) to claim the bronze medal in 7min 33.78sec.
The big disappointment for Otago supporters came in the men's premier eight when the Hamish Bond-stroked Southern RPC crew, that also included Alistair Bond, finished third in 6min 03.85sec.
The gold medal went to Central RPC in 5min 56.57sec with Waikato RPC second in 5min 57.46sec.
Five-time world champion Mahe Drysdale (Auckland RPC) regained his national single sculls title in the fast time of 6min 46.75sec from Nathan Cohen (Southern RPC) 6min 48.21sec and Eric Murray (Waikato RPC) 6min 54.17sec.
Waikato regained the prestigious Boss Rooster trophy when it won the men's premier coxed four in 6min 37.68sec.
