All Black hooker Liam Coltman is available to play for Otago this Saturday.

Initially, Otago team management thought Coltman would not be available to take on Hawke's Bay at Forsyth Barr Stadium on Saturday night in a Mitre 10 Cup championship semifinal.

But he has been made available by the All Blacks, and is likely to feature in the match.

Coltman has been heavily involved in the All Black squad in the Rugby Championship, although he had limited game time.

Otago had Sekonaia Pole start at hooker in last Saturday's game against Waikato, with Ricky Jackson coming off the bench.

Captain Sam Anderson-Heather has been struggling with a neck injury.

Hawke's Bay and Highlanders hooker Ash Dixon is set to miss the match because of a knee injury.

Key Hawke's Bay loose forward Gareth Evans, who used to play for Otago, is expected to play in the semifinal.
