Peter Breen and Aussie McLean will join Matatū as assistant coaches for Super Rugby Aupiki next season.
Breen, who lives in Dunedin and played for Otago, previously worked with the Wallaroos and Black Ferns XV, and McLean had coached the Crusaders, Hurricanes and was the All Blacks defence coach under Steve Hansen.
They will join head coach Whitney Hansen.
