Fullback Liam Edwards used his pace to score the bonus point try to give Dunedin a commanding 33-10 win over Green Island in premier club rugby today.

He also kicked five goals and scored 18 of his teams points.

Fullback Corey McFadzean scored a late try to give Alhambra-Union a 30-22 win over Pirates. Peter Breen kicked six goals and scored 15 points.

Pacy wing Glen Beadle scored two tries to help Taieri beat Harbour 29-10 to stay at the top of the Gallaway Trophy competition.

Midfield back Luke Herden used his strength to score a try in his 200th premier match for Southern and played a key role in the 28-7 win over Kaikorai.

Accurate goal kicking by first five-eighth Stephen Fenemor helped University A beat Zingari-Richmond 16-12. He kicked four goals and scored 11 of his sides points.

Harbour leads the Gallaway Trophy competition with 47 points from Dunedin 41, Southern 37, Alhambra-Union 36, Kaikorai 26, University A 24, Green Island 21, Pirates 16, Zingari-Richmond 15, Harbour 13.
