Kings won its third game in the Highlanders First XV top eight competition when it beat Waitaki Boys 30-17 at Oamaru today.
The fleet-footed fullback Taylor Haugh scored two of Kings' five tries.
The other Kings tries were scored by wing Luke Maker, halfback Joel Meade and tighthead prop Himiona Wilson.
Kings led 18-0 at the break but Waitaki Boys' came back strongly in the second half to score three tries in the last 15 minutes.
Centre Seveci Nakailagi Naisilisili scored three of John McGlashan's seven tries when Mt Aspiring College was beaten 43-12 in Dunedin.
Southland Boys' outclassed St Kevin's 55-5 at Invercargill and South Otago beat Dunstan 36-17 at Balclutha.
Central Southland College beat St Peters College 23-20 and Gore beat James Hargest 18-15.
