Christchurch is well known for its murals and street and a couple of locals have put their mark on another of the wall spaces that have been prevalent in Christchurch's central city since the earthquakes of 2011.
'Who better then Sir Ed Hillary, he's a true kiwi icon ', seemed to be the motivation for Jacob Root and his mate Cole Ferrand who've completed a portrait of Sir Ed on the Colombo and St Asaph Street corner, adding another instantly recognisable feature to the city's artistic character.
