The audience will experience a concert where contemporary jazz-noir meets punk opera meets spiritual spellcasting, an event supported by the Dunedin Jazz, Cabaret and Performing Arts Trust.
The show sifts from the contemplative sultry jazz tones of Karin Reid, accompanied by guitarist Alex Wolken, to the swooping ecstatic folk-punk of Catherine KS, and the ethereal classical-music-infused sound world of Calla Knudson.
Although very different, all three acts strive to push their craft and artistry.
The idea behind the concert is to present an intimate and eclectic programme of original Dunedin singers that highlights three very different musical approaches.
