Fashion show back on track


The iD Dunedin Fashion Show returns to Dunedin Railway Station this weekend, with an edgy blend of high-profile designers from New Zealand and abroad.

Designs from leading New Zealand designers and emerging fashion from around the world will be showcased on the long station runway this Friday and Saturday.

The showcase of New Zealand’s top designers and the iD International Emerging Designer Awards will celebrate its 23rd year and Channel 39-Southern Television will be there covering the highlights.

The iD International Emerging Designers awards finalists for 2023 and entries to the awards came from 33 schools in 14 countries and the 30 finalists represent a strong cross-section of those courses.

The 2023 iD Show will feature fashion royalty including Nom*D, Company of Strangers, Zambesi, Mild Red, Charmaine Reveley, Carlson, Kahuwai, Moochi and Liz Mitchell showcasing full winter 2023 collections.

Presenting capsule collections from Central Otago and alongside the established designers appearing in the first half of the iD Dunedin Fashion Show, five Otago Polytechnic graduates have been selected to present their collections.


Highlights of the 2023 Dunedin iD Fashion Railway Show will screen on Channel 39-Southern Television (Freeview HD Dunedin & Invercargill) on Saturday, April 15, at 7pm and will be available online at odt.co.nz
