A group of seven police puppies put on a show at the Christchurch emergency services precinct on Wednesday.

They are part of the police dog section which recruits and nurtures future police dogs.

Said Senior Sergeant Kerei Gray, who is in charge of police dog base: “This was an opportunity for the foster carers and their puppies to meet up and socialise before Christmas.

"It’s also a chance for us to publicly highlight the amazing work of our puppy breeding and local foster programme.”
