The Mole Doctor

In New Zealand, skin cancer accounts for about 80% of all new cancer diagnoses. New Zealanders should protect their skin from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays, and should check for early signs of skin cancer.

 

Dr Rahul Prasad has a special skin cancer clinic at Waverley Health called `The Mole Doctor’. At the clinic you get comprehensive whole-body skin checks, involving Dr Rahul examining your skin with a dermatoscope (a special instrument that allows skinsurface microscopy).

 

If you have over 50 moles you will benefit from getting total body photography or body mapping as this makes it easier to keep a track of which moles are changing.
