ANZAC Day Events - Central Otago
Alexandra: Parade 10.45am in Deel St and will march to the War Memorial Monument
Service and Wreath-laying ceremony 11.00am.
Clyde: Dawn Service Clyde Lookout at 6.45am. March 8.15am from the Clyde
Primary School. Service 8.30am War Memorial Monument.
Omakau: Parade from Omakau Commercial Hotel 9.45am to the Omakau Hall.
Wreath-laying 10.00am.
Millers Flat: Parade Millers Flat Hall 7.00am to the Millers Flat War Memorial where
the service will commence at completion of the march. If wet, the service will be held
at the Millers Flat Hall.
Roxburgh: Parade Roxburgh Town Hall at 9.00am to King George Memorial Park
Playground, Scotland Street Roxburgh. The service will commence at the conclusion
of the march. If wet, the service will be held in the Town Hall.
Cromwell: The laying of poppies on the Servicemen’s graves at the Cromwell
Cemetery 8.00am. Service and parade 10.00am at the Memorial Hall.
Bannockburn: The service and parade will commence at 9.00am at Bannockburn War
Memorial.
Tarras: The service and parade will commence at 10.00am at the Tarras Memorial
Hall.
Lowburn: The service and parade will commence at 9.00am at the Lowburn Hall.
Ranfurly: The dawn service at Ranfurly War Memorial will commence at 6.30am.
Gimmerburn: Morning parade will commence at 10.30am at the Gimmerburn Hall,
with the family service immediately following.
Glenorchy: Anzac Day Service at the Glenorchy War Memorial, Mull St 9am
Arrowtown: 10.30 - ANZAC Day service, Athenaeum Hall, Buckingham Street,
Arrowtown. At the conclusion of the service the parade marches to the Cenotaph on
Soldiers Hill for a further service and wreath laying.
Glenorchy: Meeting at the Memorial at 9am, or the Hall if the weather is not suitable.
Lake Hawea: 0700 Dawn Service, on the Peninsula by the dam, Lake Hawea
Queenstown:
0645 - Dawn Service, Memorial Gates, Marine Parade
0915 - Assemble at the Memorial Gates, Marine Parade
0930 - March to Memorial Centre (transport available)
1000 - ANZAC Day service, Queenstown Memorial Centre.
