As a Dunedin woman born and bred, I'm proud of my background and experiences growing up, with an older sister and supportive parents to inspire and look up to along the way.
Years of riding horses competitively taught me a lot about goal-setting and resilience.
There were many falls and disappointments, so I learned very quickly that the only way to compete was to pick myself up, get back on and keep doing the best I can.

Coming from a motoring-minded family, my aspirations inevitably shifted from horses to cars. I worked in Hamilton for a time to build my career in rally driving, with which I'm still smitten.
Rallying has allowed me to travel and compete in events throughout New Zealand, and in the USA, Italy, Japan, the UK, Sweden, and Australia - meeting great people and enjoying incredible highs, like winning Rally Canterbury in New Zealand, and the FIA/ QMMF Cross Country Rally selection in Qatar.

Since buying Gilmour Motors from my parents, I've been running the business I first became involved in while at university.
We have an amazing team with strong values around customer service, ensuring our customers are the core of the dealership. We have respect for each other and the contributions we make to the success of the business.

I am surrounded by inspiring successful women across our community, all believing "if you think you can - you can".
What do I believe? There are so many amazing things to see and do! Maximise every day. Enjoy life.
Also, a good attitude goes a long way - it will bring opportunities you would never have thought possible. Giving back is an important part of being involved in the community.
Keep an eye out for some exciting news for my career in 2021!
