Lee Tan:

Lee Tan has been a registered Pharmacist for over 25 years and purchased her first pharmacy at the Botanical Gardens at 26 years old. After a short stint overseas, she returned to Dunedin to set up Life Pharmacy Dunedin in 2009. Having interned at a Life Pharmacy in Auckland, Lee wanted to share with Dunedin the premium health & beauty pharmacy concept, in partnership with Green Cross Health.

Over the last 12 years, Life Pharmacy Dunedin won multiple pharmacy awards and local retailer awards due to the excellent customer service and innovative thinking (Brow Bar). In 2019, Lee took over the reins of Unichem Centre City Pharmacy, reinforcing the pharmacy’s reputation as a professional services provider specializing in quick finger prick diagnostic tests and vaccination services.
Lee’s passion in internal & external beauty led her to setting up GROOM Laser & Skin Clinic, at 342 George Street. Over the last 5 years, GROOM has won NZ Medispa Of The Year two years in a row and been a finalist in NZ Beauty Association & Otago Business Awards. She has raised the bar of safety and results in the beauty industry by investing in medical grade laser devices and skin care brands and focusing on consumer education.

Currently completing a certified course in Health Coaching, Lee’s next focus is Wellness - to empower people to take care of themselves from the inside out, in order to live long, happy and healthy lives.
