ROUNDHILL is a family-owned commercial skifield set in the heart of the Mackenzie Country, halfway between Christchurch and Queenstown.

They have a brilliant terrain mix to suit all ages and abilities. The beginners’ area is superwide with a gentle pitch, and is away from the main trails, which ensures a safe and fun learning environment.
Roundhill has ample intermediate trails with lots of wide-open spaces and fun undulating terrain, or if it’s deep and steep that you’re after, the Heritage Express Tow reaches an elevation of 2133m — Australasia’s biggest vertical!
Parking is slopeside, so you can bring your barbecues and deck chairs and set up camp for the day, or you can enjoy some hearty fare in the spacious fully licensed cafe´. No visit to Roundhill is complete without stopping in for a drink and a yarn at the von Brown Hut, situated near the top of the T1 T-bar.
The awesome team of ski-school instructors can cater to all ability levels, and there are over 350 sets of skis and snowboards for all ages.
