A burst water main in Koremata St, Green Island, caused some disruption to residents and motorists earlier today, a Dunedin City Council spokesperson said.

A tanker is currently on site this evening to supply water to residents, and traffic management is in place.

Water is expected to be restored before 9pm.

The cause of the burst main is yet to be identified, the spokesperson said.
