‘ODT’ finalist in media awards

The Otago Daily Times has finalists in several categories of the annual Voyager Media Awards — including best metropolitan newspaper and regional journalist of the year.

The ODT, The New Zealand Herald and the Dominion Post will battle it out for the title of New Zealand’s top newspaper at the annual awards in Auckland on May 27.

Senior reporter Grant Miller (regional journalist of the year), illustrations editor Stephen Jaquiery (best photography — news) and Shaun Yeo (cartoonist of the year) have also been nominated.
