Dunedin police investigating an indecent assault in the city have released a description of the alleged offender.
A 22-year-old woman was walking on Manor Pl at 10.10am on Wednesday when she was indecently assaulted and knocked to the ground.
Sergeant Sheldon Kindley said the offender is described as a male of skinny build, aged between 30 and 40 years old, taller than 170cm, with shoulder-length grey or brown hair.
He is believed to have been wearing light blue jeans and possibly a jacket.
He was last seen at the intersection of Manor Pl and Hope and Princes Sts.
Police have spoken to one witness and would like anyone else who was in the area about 10am, who saw a man running in the vicinity of those streets, to contact them on (03) 471-4800 or provide anonymous information to Crimestoppers on 0800 555-111.
