Police cordoned off part of a Dunedin suburb this morning after a 111 call about an address where there were known to be firearms.
The caller "had concerns about the wellbeing of a woman" at the address in Picardy St, Maryhill.
The Armed Offenders Squad was called as a precaution but was later stood down, police said.
The situation was resolved without incident.
