University of Otago bachelor of science student Fern McCallum (18) tucks into a Chocolate-eater waffle from Eggpuff Buddy at the University of Otago University Students’ Association’s Food Truck Feastival in Dunedin yesterday.

OUSA events and venues operations manager Jason Schroeder said the event was originally planned for Re-Orientation week but was postponed due to bad weather.

However, the event was rescheduled to give students an event to enjoy.

"Our student body has had to wear so many cancellations over the last couple of years, we wanted to ensure that we were still able to provide social events where we still could," Mr Schroeder said.
