Trio facing charges over 'serious assault'

A person has been seriously hurt after an alleged assault by three men in central Dunedin.

Police were called to the report of an assault at the intersection of Moray Pl and George St about 12.45am on Sunday.




A police spokesman said one person suffered serious injuries.

Three men have been charged with injuring with intent to injure and are set to appear in the Dunedin District Court on Thursday.
