Motorcyclist injured in Dunedin crash

One person is injured after a crash involving a motorcycle in North Dunedin this morning.

Emergency services were called to the accident involving a motorcycle and another vehicle in North Rd outside Gardens New World at 11.30am.

A police spokesman said the road was initially blocked but was cleared shortly afterwards.

It is thought the motorcyclist suffered a leg injury, the spokesman said.

A St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said one patient with minor injuries was transferred to Dunedin Hospital by ambulance.
