Police have been unable to locate a man wanted in relation to a robbery three days after he made off on foot with hundreds of dollars of cash.
Described as a "chubby'' Maori, wearing a Jordan cap and a red bandana over his face, he used a screwdriver to threaten a female staff member at the Brighton On The Spot store before making off with hundreds of dollars.
About 30 minutes previously, a man fitting the description was caught on CCTV in the Caversham Dairy, his face covered and a screwdriver in his pocket.
Owner Harry Singh said the man got spooked and made off without demanding anything.
A police spokeswoman said no-one had been arrested and the investigation was ``ongoing''.
