A three-day conference is set to draw nurses from New Zealand and Australia to Dunedin at the end of this month.
The New Zealand Nurses Organisation (NZNO) national enrolled nurse section conference will be held from June 30 at the University of Otago.
NZNO enrolled nurse section chairwoman Robyn Hewlett said the conference would offer a variety of speakers, including Lesley Elliott, whose daughter Sophie was stabbed to death by her former boyfriend, Clayton Weatherston, in 2008.
The New Zealand Nursing Council will speak about changes to enrolled nursing and Otago University's Dr Lynley Anderson will speak about professional boundaries in clinical practice.
Also, Jan Waddell from Positive Women will also speak.
