Police part of the neighbourhood

South Dunedin's neighbourhood police (from left) team leader Sergeant Trevor Thompson, Constable Shelley Dodds, Constable Keith Early and Senior Constable Aaron Smith (Constable Sally Marr is absent) started a survey of South Dunedin residents yesterday.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team started working in the area last year and will complete the survey of South Dunedin residents, to learn what concerns people have, within a month.

The team will then work out what the priorities are for the area and work with the community to deal with them. The team was established to focus on the South Dunedin area.
