Police are appealing for information after cash was stolen from a Countdown supermarket in Dunedin.
Senior Sergeant Ben Butterfield, of Dunedin, said someone forced entry into the supermarket in Mailer St, Mornington, between 1am and 5am yesterday and stole "a small amount of cash''.
In another burglary, soft drinks were stolen from the clubrooms of Melchester Rovers Football Club at Marlow Park in St Clair.
The drinks could have been taken anytime in the past two weeks, Snr Sgt Butterfield said.
If anyone saw suspicious behaviour near the supermarket or the football club they should report it to police.
