Seeing in the new year

Emily Bevin (8) and mother Julie Meikle, of Dunedin, made the most of the last few days of the school holidays by visiting the Dunedin Chinese Garden and dressing up in traditional Chinese clothing.

Their visit coincided with the beginning of the Chinese New Year — the Year of the Rat.
