Power is out for about 300 homes at St Kilda following a lightning strike this afternoon, which damaged two power transformers.
Delta spokesman Gary Johnson said the lightning strike happened about 4.30pm.
Staff are working on repairs and it was hoped power would be restored by 8.30pm, he said.
