The Otago Festival of the Arts Trust was the biggest beneficiary of the Otago Community Trust donation round this month.
Festival director Nicholas McBryde said the $185,000 would support the delivery of the 10th two-yearly festival, to be held for 10 days from September 21 next year.
"Planning is under way now and a line-up of great international, national and local shows will ensure that the festival marks its 20th year in style."
