Dunedin's Three Mile Hill Rd is fully open again after a significant diesel spill today.
Police and fire officers attend the spill that slowed traffic and required a grit truck late this morning.
A police spokeswoman said the spill, which was called in shortly after 11am, was on the Halfway Bush end of the road "from top to bottom''.
Firefighters from Roslyn attended what a Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokeswoman described as "a significant spill''.
It was unclear what caused it.
