Boy hit by car fighting for his life

A 13-year-old Hamilton boy is fighting for his life after being hit by a car this morning.

Police said it appeared that the boy stepped in front of the car while crossing Ruakura Rd in east Hamilton at 8.15am and the driver was unable to avoid him.
