A woman killed in a Christchurch car crash on Tuesday night has been named by police.
Danielle May Reeves, 21, died after the car she was in crashed into a parked car on Birmingham Drive in suburban Middleton about 10.20pm.
Ms Reeves died at the scene, while the driver, a man in his early 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver would likely to be charged once released from hospital, Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Murton said.
Police were still investigating.
