A 18-year-old man caught breaking into a Palmerston North house today may be involved in a number of other unsolved burglaries in the area.The man was disturbed by neighbours after the second of two burglaries committed in close succession just after 7.30am.
Acting Detective Sergeant Shelley Ross commended residents for their vigilance and for providing information which helped in the arrest.
The man will appear in the Palmerston North District Court today.
Police will examine his involvement in numerous other unsolved burglaries in the city.
