A person is dead after a collision between a car and a truck north in the Waikato this afternoon.
Police were called at 2.28pm to the crash, on State Highway 27 between Wardville and Gillett Roads, about 8km north of Matamata, police said.
The driver of the car was killed, while the truck driver suffered minor injuries.
Diversions were in place and the traffic flow in the area was moderate, but being monitored, police said.
